What we do and why
Dufferin Media Cares was born directly as a result of our founder’s belief that what lies at the core of humanity is kindness. As a long-time volunteer and an expert in website design, communications strategies and social media management, Sarah Clarke and the DMC team have together combined their skill sets and passion for philanthropy to support the promotion and collaboration efforts of not for profits around the world. Short term, DMC will offer valuable digital and social media support, at favourable rates, to non-profits and community-based organizations. Long term, the vision for DMC is to act as a central source – a gathering point for like-minded community organizations around the world to share best practices; offer their expertise, tools and resources to one another, to focus attention on education and good governance tools and ultimately, to build, learn, share and collaborate for the greater good and prosperity of all.
How we will do it
Dufferin Media Cares will not only build and host the web presence required to support this global initiative but also support members in a variety of ways including their non-profit “Favourable Rates”* initiative and the “Adopt a Charity” Program; a plan that annually, provides one lucky recipient, with a package of social media, branding, strategy and digital marketing support, completely free of charge.

Learn More About Founder Sarah Clarke:
Sarah is a small business owner with a big heart. Fuelled by examples of the human kindness she sees in the world around her, and supported by a team of similarly dedicated experts whose values align with her own, Sarah is always looking for new ways to support the community. She is a busy Mom, an Entrepreneur and a social citizen who devotes a great deal of her time volunteering in the community including the past 7 years with the Orangeville Food Bank. As Owner and Founder of Dufferin Media, she is a business leader in her community who in addition to volunteer work has forged strong relationships with other media organizations like Snapd Dufferin and Dufferin. News as well as with key organizations throughout the UK and across North America.
